John Ryland

I live in Northport, Alabama with my wife and two sons where I write poetry, short stories, and novels. I have been a published poet since 1997, with two poems placed last year. I also landed spots in
a dozen national and regional journals and anthologies with my short stories. I like to write about ordinary people in extraordinary situations. By extraordinary, I mean crazy, wild stuff that you'd probably never think about. I've been told my mind works different. Maybe it does.
